Alexander Technique Lunge Procedure with hands on help

Why is it called the Alexander Technique?

The Alexander Technique is named after its founder F.M Alexander, a late 19th century actor, who developed his technique in response to chronic vocal problems when reciting.

Through many years of observation and practice, he discovered a set of principles that helped him recover his vocal function, and created a hands-on method to help people bypass the neuromuscular habits that interfere with one's posture and functioning.

Since its invention, the Alexander Technique has helped millions of people around the world improve their everyday quality of life.

ATechniqueDenver's mission is to expand the influence of the Alexander Technique and its principles of awareness, inhibition, and direction to every home in Denver.  By doing so, empower those with chronic back pain, neck pain, joint pain, breathing problems, Parkinson's disease, or hyper-mobility, to move with confidence and ease!
